"Signs" is the movie. It is THE Disney Studio's live action feature for the summer and stars the ever-popular actor and money machine Mel Gibson. The plot is built around the mysterious phenomenon of crop circles, and in a little more than a month these enigmatic formations will be the subject of much talk across the country - among individuals as well as major print and broadcast media. As "Ultimate Crop Circles” has been a pet project of mine here at Central Park Media, I wanted you to have some information on crop circles in general and our DVD in particular and why you should be taking preorders for this title, as well as having a stock of them on hand when "Signs" opens at theatres around the country on August 2. "Signs" will be the cause of an explosion of interest in crop circles and this is the most up-to-date product available anywhere on them. So why all the excitement? Crop circles have also been growing larger and more complex with each passing season. While there is anecdotal evidence to suggest that crop circles appeared thousands of years in the past, they have definitely been with us since the mid-nineteen seventies, and while a worldwide phenomenon, more than 90% of them continue to form within the borders of an equilateral triangle, 40.1 miles per side in south central England the same exact area where you can find Stonehenge, Silbury Hill, Avebury, and literally hundreds of other Neolithic circles, mounds and other ancient structures. Bios: Colin Andrews is a distinguished researcher and an internationally best-selling author. He is widely acknowledged as the world expert on the crop circle phenomenon. Founder of Circles Phenomenon Research International, the first organization established specifically to investigate the phenomenon, his scientific investigations are responsible for much of the information available on the subject today. An electrical engineer by profession, he was intrigued by the aspects of the circles' creation and began to investigate the phenomenon in 1983 with Pat Delgado. Andrews and Delgado co-authored Circular Evidence, the first book written on the subject. This was followed by their equally successful book, Crop Circles: The Latest Evidence, in 1990. Andrews acted as Chief Consultant for the British film A Place To Stay, in which he also appeared as himself. He also supplied information and photographs for the Disney film, Signs, starring Mel Gibson, released in the U.S. in August 2002. Peter Robbins has been involved in UFO studies for more than twenty years - as a researcher, investigator, writer, lecturer, best-selling author, and as Executive Assistant to Budd Hopkins' Intruders Foundation. Peter also serves as head of the UFO Media Division at Central Park Media and is Editor-in-Chief of the website UFOcity.com.
